For your final project, you will be developing a two-unit course. Choose a topic for that course and develop an overview for it. The overview should be about one paragraph and broadly describe the subject of the units you will develop. Post the overview as your initial discussion post. 

The course that I will be exploring in this class will be that of database design. Databases are integral to several aspects and disciplines of IT, including information systems, data science, software engineering, and knowledge management. This class will focus on the core aspects of database design, which will create the foundation upon which future classes can expand. Databases are utilized, developed, monitored, or secured in almost every information technology discipline that these students will learn about in their IT degree pursuits, and having this foundational database design knowledge will support their understanding and growth in those classes.
The class will concentrate on core aspects of database design, Database Theory, Structure Query Languages (SQL), Data Modeling, and Database Management Systems (DBMS). Data Security and Integrity, Performance, and Big Data and Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI). For this class, the two units that I initially plan be focus on is Database Theory and Structure Query Languages (SQL).
