• Retail firms may be independently owned, chain-owned, franchisee-operated, leased departments, owned by manufacturers or wholesalers, or consumer-owned. Select a retail firm with which you are familiar, and describe the type of ownership of that firm. Support your selection with two (2) examples that best illustrate the manner in which the chosen firm embodies the particular type of ownership.
