Introduction

Nanotechnology involves the application of fields such as science, medicine, engineering robotics among others which has revolutionized the manufacturing process since there has been the availability of new raw materials that are coming up. There has been a lot of discovering about nontechnology in the manufacturing sector and has greatly affected human life in one way or another where most of the Nano techniques have been discovered such as the laser shock imprinter, nanofabrication tool, nanoscale diamond tips among others. Nanotechnology is being used in various areas such as in the environment, agriculture, medicine, food production and it has led to great improvement in these areas as explained below (Wang, 2013).

In agricultural filed the nanotechnology has been used in pinpointing all the harmful material in the atmosphere and in the soil and this will help farmers in identifying ways to eliminate such harmful agents which would increase the yields. Also, the technology is used in the beauty and cosmetic by enhancing the ant microorganism characteristics in them. The technology aims at improving the life of an individual (Sekhon, 2014).

Nanotechnology in Medical Application

The technology is widening the healthcare tools, ideas, and knowledge as well as therapies to the physicians. It has produced a lot of improvement especially in providing solutions for diseases prevention and treatment. The technology is used to look for ways of improving the vaccines such as delivering them into the human body without injections such as the vaccine for the flu. Also, the nanotechnology is used in regenerative medicines such as the neural tissue and bone engineering which has aided in the bone restoration and transplantation.

Nanotechnology research help in delivering of cancer medication by minimizing the damage the cancer cause to the body issue. This has greatly impacted to the cancer treatment as it has minimized the harmful effects of the chemotherapy. More importantly, the technology has been crucial in treating and diagnosing atherosclerosis and also there has been researching on the nanoparticle that can aid in reducing the cholesterol and this help in reducing the plaque in the human arteries (Arunadevi, B., & Raja, M. A, 2017).

Nanotechnology in Energy Application

The technology has enhanced the alternative methods of energy production which are affordable, environmentally friendly and cost-effective to meet the high demand for energy. The technology has brought efficiency in the production of fuel from the petroleum products using the catalysis method. The technology is also applied in the oil and gas extraction since it enables the gas lifters to detect the microscopic fractures of the pipeline. It has also reduced the power loss during transmission of energy as it has enhanced production of carbon wires that have low resistance in the electric grid. The nanotechnology is also used in producing new batteries that are lighter, holds an electrical charge for a long period of time, it’s efficient and charge quickly. Also, there the use of epoxy has ensured the production of long, strong and lighter windmill blades that has increased the electricity generated by windmills. Also, the nanoscience has brought new discoveries where waste heat in automobiles, power pants computers among others are being converted into usable electrical power (Sekhon, 2014).

Transport Benefit

According to researchers, the nanotechnology is promising to have great development in transport sector where it will contribute to the production light, safe, smart and more efficient ships, aircrafts, ships, yacht, and others. The nanoengineering is promising to improve the resilience, length, and performance of high ways and other infrastructures and also reduce their cost of construction. The nanoscale sensors are capable of monitoring the integrity and the performs of structures such as the pavements, parking lots tunnels, bridges among others. Nanoelectronics can be sued to enhance transportation since it will lead to vehicle-based communication that will help drivers maintain their lane position and this will minimize congestion, reduce vehicle collision and improve the driver’s interfaces (Wang, 2013).

Nanotechnology in Environmental Remedy

Nanoparticles are used to clean water pollutants from industries by use of chemical reactions that make the pollutants harmless which is cost effective method. There has been the use of magnetic nanoparticles that are water repellent and which are used to remove oil from the water. Above all the nanotechnology sensors and solutions containing high sensitivity have been used in detecting and identifying chemical agents that are in the atmosphere or in the soil (Sivaraj, R., Salam, H. A., Rajiv, P., & Rajendran, V., 2015).
