Discuss how Steve Jobs’ companies, Apple and Pixar, leveraged intellectual property to build tremendously successful companies that dominate their industries today. For instance, Apple pursues an aggressive patent protection strategy as well as aggressively protecting its research and development and trade secrets. Apple also has leveraged its iconic brand through trademark protection.
