The Injury Produced by Their Goods Is via Their Negligence Discussion

This week you learned about strict products liability, which is a doctrine that allows people to sue manufacturers, sellers or distributors of products for injuries that they suffer as a result of defects in those products. As you read, a “defect” could be a manufacturing defect, a defect in the design of the product, or a defect in the packaging of the product and warnings that are or aren’t included with the product. For this week’s discussion, I’d like to know your opinions about whether you think it’s fair that manufacturers, sellers and distributors are held strictly liable. Answer each of the following questions, and respond thoughtfully to at least one other classmate’s post.
