Hi,
I need this no later than NOON E.S.T., so that’s a time based out of the U.S. Read this in it’s entirely THEN respond to me. I’m willing to pay $50.00 U.S.
I need someone to watch the following movie, or at least watch it enough so that you can answer the questions:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfC6wpWPs4o
The movie is the 1977 version of Swami, it’s a Hindi film and not in English.
I need the responses to the following questions in English. I will probably go through and re-write them, but I need to be able to get the gist of them. This is for a Philosophy class, so it is very big on cause and effect. Any place where you can include example that are specific to the movie, that’d be great. Each response needs to be about 75 words.
2. What were some of the conflicts of values between Mini and her mother?
3. Did Mini make the right decision in agreeing to the arranged marriage with Ghanshyam? What were some of her assumptions in making the decision? (Note: Pl. refer to the reading on “Assumptions” and do not confuse assumptions with guesswork, etc.)
4. What values did Ghanshyam exhibit in his conduct? What were some of his important assumptions?
5. What brought about a change in Mini’s attitude and behaviors toward her husband Ghanshyam shortly after her marriage?
6. Why did Mini decide to leave with Naren after his visit with her husband’s family? What were her assumptions?
7. Was Mini justified in deciding to leave with Naren after his visit with her husband’s family? Why?
8. Why did Mini change her mind while waiting for the train at the station? What sort of critical thinking did she do about her initial decision to leave with Naren?
9. Was Mini justified in changing her mind and deciding to go back to her husband? Why?
10. Did the movie contribute to your understanding of relations between men and women in the context of a traditional Indian family and in general? If so, how? Briefly explain with examples drawn from the movie.
