Situation # 1

PeterGaye: Hello, Wendy. How are you?

Wendy: I’m good and yourself?

PeterGaye: I would like to invite you to a family dinner on Sunday.

Wendy: Really? Sounds good give me the details.

PeterGaye: My family is very friendly and fun to be around. Don’t worry You’ll fit right in. My mother loves to cook, her favorite dish to prepare is rice , peas and fried chicken.

Wendy: Great two of my favorites! Tell me a little more about your family.

Petergaye:My youngest brother Micheal is 9 years old and loves to play video games. My sister Michelle is 20 years old and she hates when I play my music loud. She’s always studying. Michelle wants to be a doctor.

Wendy: Yes my brother loves video games as well, Hey maybe i’ll bring him too!

Petergaye: No Problem, See you sunday.

Situation # 2

Petergaye: Hi Wendy, How are you?

Wendy: I’m well, and you?

Petergaye: Me and my friends are planning a trip to go to Jamaica for three days.

Wendy: Sounds inviting, tell me a little about Jamaica.

Petergaye: Jamaica is a very sunny and tropical, there are so many fun things to do.

Wendy: I could use a little vacation.

Petergaye: In the mornings we are going to have breakfast and lay on the beach. We’re also going to hang out by the pool and relax. At noon we are going to have lunch poolside, any maybe do a little shopping in town.

Wendy: If I we’re going what would the evenings be like?

Petergaye: In the evenings we are going to have dinner and watch the entertainment provided at the hotel. This trip is going to be so much fun.

Wendy: Enjoy your trip! Take lots of pictures!

Petergaye: Hello Wendy, How are you? Are you here for the interview for the RN position that’s open?

Wendy: No, I haven’t graduated yet.

Petergaye: Are you taking any classes? If so what are they?

Wendy: Yes i’m taking Biology and Literature, I only need 5 more credits.

PeterGaye: So, besides that. What is your daily routine?

Wendy: Well, I have to classes in the mornings and I volunteer in the afternoons at the local hospital. Lately I’ve been a little more tired than usual.

Petergaye: What are your eating habits like? Do you eat alot of cooked food or fast food?

Wendy: Not very good, I’m not consistent and I have a bit of a sweet tooth.

Petergaye: What is your favorite pastime? What do you do for fun?

Wendy: With the workload I have, I hardly have anytime to be sociable.

Petergaye: Are you in a relationship? Do you have any pets?

Wendy: Yes, I’m currently seeing a guy I met in school last year. We have 2 small pitbulls.

Petergaye: Where is your family from.

Wendy: My family is from Georgia.
