In this  assignment, your paper should be 5-7 pages, excluding title page and reference pager in APA format.

   

• Explain the major factors or historical foundation that contributed to making the selected social issue important for sociological consideration.
• Describe the social category(ies) or who are affected by the social issue.
• Discuss how society has changed over time in regard to your social issue.
• Recommend two (2) ways of attempting to improve the social situation you described above.
• Evaluate and discuss at least one of  the theoretical perspectives (chap. 1- Conflict, Symbolic Interactionism or Functionalism) for sociological research that can be applied to your social issue
