Short Paper Option Five: Modern Family

 

Write a 2-3 page essay on what you perceive as the most important social problem facing the families in the United States.

Include:

1.      A brief explanation of the social problem.  (Include a discussion of the following aspects: What is the scope of the problem? How prevalent is the problem? Who will be impacted by this growing problem? What led to this problem’s development? How will it change the family as we know it today?)

2.      A discussion of possible social policy solutions to this social problem. (You must discuss at least two alternatives)

3.      Which alternative is best, in your opinion?
