Arash Hashemi Historical Letter

In this letter I learn that people desire gaining riches. In the letter the writer belied that with gold, one is simply a rich person. Due to the desire of becoming rich, one is able to go through all ways in order to find the riches. For instant, the movement of the writer to Jamestown with the stress of her children was all about looking for wealth.

I learned that riches are so valuable such that people could forget their stomachs and die from hunger. They could spend a whole day and night looking for the American gold which would render them being rich. I have learned that riches can blind one up from knowing that God exists. As the people suffered from winter consequences the writer says that they could not feel it. Many of them died but they only focused on gaining riches.

As I have realized from the letter, with gold, there is freedom in captivity. For instant, the writer was requesting for the gold to save her children from the death sentence. I have learned that a parent has a great love for their children. The writer is frank enough to the future friend for the need of gold. She says that she can not withstand the suffering of her children.

I have learned that giving up to a situation is not the way to solve any problem in one’s live. Death is a passage of life. The death of parents does not mark the end of child’s life. According to the writer, the death of her father, did not affect her ambition to life.

I also learned that prayers work out our problems. The writer did not surrender her life but she kept on praying for her future. She always lay with the spiritual people such as the bishop who build her life. On the other hand, the paper taught me that community culture is also curried forward from generation to generation. The writer’s mother felt unable to take care of her children after their father’s death. The only option that came to her mind was giving them out to their uncle.

From the paper, I learned that politics are all about war. People fight for the throne only looking for fame and money. In that case, there various promises when one is getting in to a battle. For instant, the writer indicated that Henry had promised to marry her as the competed for the throne. This proved that the promises are only made for gaining the throne but never fulfilled.

I have found that the writer of this paper poses the same character as I do. As a human being, we should be able to recognize ourselves first before we are recognized. I have found that one is able to find out his or her strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, leadership qualities and the ability to rule can be well seen by the public. The public can well tell ones characters as a leader. This guarantees a leader great love from the public. I learned that ones characters that are shown to the public accounts a lot to the peace and love one would achieve.

On the other hand, Queen Isabella of Spain has clearly taught me that a queen can both lead in the politics and also to the religion. I have learned that being a prayerful leader is a great achievement which guarantees one a peaceful moment during the leadership. This has taught me that I should not only find the earthly riches and kingdom but also for the heavenly kingdom. Love for one another is another lesson that the writer has clearly demonstrated. Winning souls for the lost ones and bringing them to the kingdom is a good task that a leader should take the initiative.

Queen of Isabella of Spain has taught me that as human beings, we should have great visions and dreams for our future. Such dreams help us to make efforts in life in order to achieve the visions. On the other hand, this paper has clearly taught me how it is beneficial to teach the followers as a leader. For instant, teaching the rest of the government that being a noble is just an opportunity to teach serve but not to oppress. This would build a great nation which would be slavery free.

This paper concluded that education can be given to the least and also to the great. Many people could have a question on the teaching of the nobles assuming that as a leader, the do not deserve education. This has been clearly illustrated by this paper that such teachings to the leaders, makes them the role models to the citizens hence a peaceful nation.
