RESPONSE ESSAY IV

As we finish the Chaucer section of the course, see if you can come up with a modern situation that would allow for a similar set of stories to be told: a road trip to Florida? A pilgrimage to a sports hall of fame? Some other situation that puts a group of people together for a sufficient length of time? For this final response essay, you will describe that situation, describe some of the characters (perhaps about six of them), and give some idea of the type of tale each of those six would tell. You don’t need to write out any tales—just let us know what sort of tale a character would tell.
