1. If I were to develop a business it would be a 3rd party property management company in the state of New Mexico that primarily focused on affordable housing multi-family units. The objective would to be able to provide not only management to the site but the state compliance reporting aspect, fair housing requirements, and financial oversight of a company’s asset. Knowing that in New Mexico the affordable housing 3rd party management agencies are very slim I know this would be a competitive market and having over 20 years experience in not only the affordable multi-family industry, but development, ownership, and financial aspect of the business I feel I could bring competition to the industry. My strategy would be focused on entering my business in geographical markets that do not currently have, or have little competition by utilizing my reputation and skillset in the market (Thompson A.
