Article Reviewed: Highly motivated kids have a greater advantage in life than kids with a high IQ

After reading the first article, the author was trying to express the idea of there is people are gifted and there are other motivationally gifted that means they are gifted by encouraging them.

The article absolutely make sense to me because I have the same idea that there are many kids aren’t gifted but because they are raising in a house full of knowledge, they become knowledgeable and gifted in some aspects. However, encouraging the kid to achieve the reading for instance by giving him candy or Similar enhancers will lead to make the child seeking to get that candy and won’t focus on the target.

I think when I work as a teacher I will try as much as I can to work on the study that article one made is to encourage the students to do whatever they like to do. For example: I will try to make free two hours weekly for the students. First, giving them punch of activities. Second, give them the freedom in either playing, writing or working …etc. Then that is going to make the things obvious to me to know the students’ passions. After that I will create classes to meet the students’ passions. I believe that this study is important for the education in general and it is important for the teachers before the students to make them believe in the students’ abilities even if they are not gifted, so they can encourage the students to work harder to do well.
