Perfecto!
Taken to its purest, it means that a nation cannot put any restriction on the import of any goods into the country. No tariffs, no quotas, cannot inspect greater than domestic goods, etc. After reviewing the Chapter and doing some outside web research for LU 7, you realize that every nation places some types of barriers to trade on imported goods. What do you think? Should the world be one big free trade zone? Nations will compete against each other purely on price and quality or will that not work. Should we have the various schedules of tariffs? Should we have the regional free trade zone agreements, such as NAFTA, and leave well enough alone. It is you and I the consumer that suffers, or is it broader. Please review this International Business Chapter and then post a comment for this thread. Thank you.
Well developed, answered in paragraph please.
