Use the information reviewed during this week’s lesson to demonstrate a thorough understanding of job order costing and its application in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on work-in-process allocations. Create a PowerPoint presentation to be presented via PowerPoint plus audio  including, but not limited to the following:

Explain the concept of job order costing.

Highlight the different jobs, direct and indirect costs, and the role of work in process.

1. Notes:

You will be providing a PowerPoint with a script in Word.

The script is similar to a podcast, but align with the PowerPoints (eg. In the Word: Slide1: xxxxx    Slide 2:xxxxx).

There should be approximately ten MS PowerPoints (1 introduction, 7 content slides, 1 conclusion, and 1 for references).

It is important to have the PowerPoints readable for the audience.  Watch the font, font color, font size, and background of the slides.  The slides should be consistent in background.

Use bullet points and don’t read the slides. The slides should not be too busy, but they should be readable.
