Conduct independent research on the ethics practices of a company in the retail clothing
business, including national and international operations. Cite ethics issues that the
company may have had in the last 3-5 years. Discuss the ethical successes or failures of
that entity, and explain those successes or failures in terms of one or more of the
philosophical approaches to ethics as outlined in Chapter 2.
Note:
I will be monitoring your individual participation in the class discussion. Your
contribution will be worth a possible 5 points of your overall participation grade. A good
contribution will demonstrate that you have done the reading and thought about the
topic and have made an effort to add something relevant and meaningful to the
discussion, for example:
