Classic novel literary paper

After reading your classic novel, you are going to write a literary paper about it. The paper should be about 500 words. Use Times New Roman size 12.

The paper should be based on the theme that you think is the most important or interesting in the novel. Support your thesis (of your chosen theme) with examples and quotes from the novel. Some examples of common themes: revenge, growing up, losing someone, betrayal, etc.

Reflect on the novel and compare it to your own experiences. Express your opinions on the book and explain them. Use words that are appropriate for literary analysis (see the document “Literary terms”). Be personal but not informal.
