Selecting an Internet Business Model and Designing a Web Strategy

 

The five business described below are based on real-world scenarios. Review each of them. Then select one business, produce a report and also answer the following questions:

1. What internet business model would be appropriate for the company to follow in creating a Website?
2. In what ways can the company benefit from a website?

What functions should it perform for the company (marketing, sales, customer support, internal communication, etc)?

1. In what other ways might the company use the internet for its own benefit?
2. Prepare a simple cost-benefit analysis of a proposal (ie: budget for the hardware, network, web design, web hosting, domain name registration etc) to implement the company’s use of the internet.
