Use this Knowledge Cafe to discuss the following items among your group:

Work with your group to choose FOUR countries to research in terms of their cultural profile and the consequences of this profile on HR practices (e.g., in terms of motivation, recruitment, communication with employees, rewards and sanctions, etc.). You are free to choose any four countries. Reference this lesson’s readings and Hofstede’s dimensions.

Write up your group research results regarding the cultural profile and the consequences of this information on HR practices for the FOUR countries that your group has chosen. Compare and contrast and make recommendations on ways that HR practices could vary from one country to another (e.g., in terms of motivation, recruitment, communication with employees, rewards and sanctions, etc.). In your group essay, include an introduction and a conclusion.
