Instructions for Submitting Your Case Assignment on Canvas
1. Document Format: Save your file as a Word document (.doc or .docx).
2. Font: Use Times New Roman, size 12.
3. Spacing: Double-space your document.
4. Margins: Set all margins to 1 inch.
5. Document Information
– Include on the top of the first page with the following information left aligned on the page:
– Your Name (i.e., John/Jane Smith)
– ACCTG 530
– Leigh Ann Walker Case
6. Include a header on each page with your last name and page number (e.g., Smith 1).
7. If you use references: Use APA formatting for any citations/references, and include a separate references page at the end of your document.
8. File Naming: Name your file as follows: LastName_FirstName_LeighAnnWalkerCase.docx (e.g., Smith_John_LeighAnnWalkerCase.docx).
9. Upload Your File:
– Click on the Case Assignment to open the submission page.
– Click on the “Submit Assignment” button.
– Click “Choose File” (or “Browse”) and select your Word document.
– Confirm that your file name follows the specified format.
10. Submit:
– After uploading your file, click the “Submit Assignment” button.
– Wait for the confirmation message that your assignment has been submitted successfully.
**Verify Submission:**
– Double-check the submission details and ensure your file has been uploaded correctly.
– You can re-download the file from Canvas to confirm it is the correct version.
