Understanding Islam Outline

Thesis: Peace in Quran, What happened to Islam’s reputation? Like any other religion, believers and disbelievers, Islam has become highly misunderstood by other cultures mainly because of the media. Islam’s image has been always portrayed as the “bad guys” or terrorists. Islam mentions peace in almost all its chapters of Quran.

I. How was Islam’s reputation affected and known as the religion of terrorism:

· Media amplified those roamers.

· People look on the downside rather than comparing with the brighten side.

II. Man Arrested for Alleged Plot to Attack a Detroit Mosque:

· Media hides kinds of news In order to cover up the fact that terrorism has no religion.

· Not only few but lots of news wasn’t published to people which clarifies that conspiracies made by a political party.

· If the man was a Muslim this would’ve been published all over the world

III. “And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.” (chapter 2 : verse 195 ‘Quran’)

· Our holy book which we follow in all life experiments always talks about a person should be a doer of goods.

· How come terrorism is an act by doers of good?

· Jihad which is known as the terror worship, is completely understood wrong and people took into consideration not knowing what it is about.

Conclusion: Todays, preview has been enlarged the media to a point that it become an online technological war on Islam promoting a propaganda, we are all humans and come different backgrounds and natures, respect and openmindness should be a merit in ever human, everyone deserves a chance to portray his personality as an individual and shouldn’t be catogrized into a group.
