prepare a mockup of a Web site that displays the aesthetic and usability features important to a successful site. Post all work to the Discussion Area.

Identify a Web site of your own choosing (not included in the textbook) and complete  a mockup of the site. Your mockup will:

· Display how you would redesign the site. In other words, create an image of what the website should look like as well as an image of what it looks like currently so we can see a comparison. This can even be a sketch if your can skilled in a particular software such as Photoshop or Illustrator. Please number your changes.

· Explain how the usability of site would be improved and why. Explain the changes using the respective numbers used above in the redesign.

Refer to the text Homepage Usability – 50 Websites Deconstructed and choose 20 usability points that are discussed in the book. There are over 100 examples to choose from. You will demonstratean understanding of how user interface options can be improved and can contribute to the success of the site.

Format

Prepare a paper (750 -1,000 words) discussing how the usability of site would be improved and why based on the images. These images can be copied into the Word document. The assignment must be completed in Microsoft Word and all sources should be sourced in MLA format. The word count does not include the cover page or the bibliography.
