Project Description:
The Entertainment Lair is a successful retail store. The Lair sells traditional board games, role-playing games, puzzles, and models, and is renowned for hosting game night events. The Lair is a place where gamers can find gaming resources, supplies, gaming news, and a good challenge. The store has been in operation for three years and has increased its revenue and profit each year. The partners are looking to expand their operation and need to prepare a presentation for an important meeting with financiers.

Instructions:
For the purpose of grading of the project you are required to perform the following tasks:

9 In the table you just created, in the first row, enter Year in the left cell and Qtr. 1 in the right cell. In the second row, enter Last Year and $37,761. In the last row, enter This Year and $61,594. 6
10 Display Slide 8. Search for a Clip Art image using the search word dice, narrowing the results so that only illustrations are returned. Include the Office.com content in the search. From the search results, insert the picture of tumbling dice. (Note: Insert the same image as the one displayed on Slide 1.) For your reference, the image is also included with the project starting materials with the file name dice . 10
11 Move the image on Slide 8 so that the bottom and right edges of the image align with the lower right corner of the slide. 3
12 Resize the image on Slide 8 so that the top left corner of the image aligns with the 3-inch mark to the right of 0 on the horizontal ruler and the 1.75-inch mark below 0 on the vertical ruler. 3
13 On Slide 4, apply the Fly In entrance animation to the text box containing Our second year was significantly better. Change the duration to 00.75 and change the Start option to After Previous. 12
14 Start the slide show and navigate through the presentation. On Slide 8, underline the word detailed in the first bullet using the Pen pointer option. Exit the slide show and keep the annotation. 10
15 Display the print preview the presentation handouts with 4 slides per page horizontally. Save and close the presentation. Exit PowerPoint. Submit the presentation as directed. 0

Your partner has started the presentation, but isn’t very skilled with PowerPoint, so you agree to take the second pass and refine and strengthen the presentation while he starts another part of the project. In this exercise, you will tweak the text, apply a design theme, add a table, insert clip art, and use transitions and animations.

Instructions:
For the purpose of grading the project you are required to perform the following tasks:

Because she recently helped you buy your first home, she has also asked for your input based on your positive experience. She has provided you with a separate presentation from which she would like you to reuse a couple of slides. In this project, among other skills, you will edit and format text, insert and format pictures, apply transitions, add speaker notes, and insert slides from an existing presentation.
