Health policy analysis

As a fellow at Excelsior Institute for Health Policy Innovation, you have been asked to provide an in-depth analysis of a policy and policy area.

Instructions

• Restate your policy-relevant question at the beginning of this installment.
• Explain the expected agreements and conflicts among stakeholders on the goals for a policy-level intervention.
• Summarize the major policy-level interventions that have already been attempted related to this issue, including the strengths and weaknesses of each intervention.
• Discuss three or four principal policy alternatives (existing or possible), including each alternative’s major strengths and weaknesses.
• Identify the important tradeoffs to consider between the alternatives.

Your analysis will be based upon the seven or more highly credible resources you located earlier in the term, plus any others you may need to locate to complete your analysis. Be sure that you are using balanced literature sources to accurately and equitably capture multiple stakeholder perspectives on this policy.

Your literature review should be 4-6 double-spaced pages, not including the cover page and reference page. APA formatting for references, in-text citations, and headings is required.
