For this assignment:

1. Visit the Health Information Technology web portal for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. 
2. Locate the blue navigation pane on the left side of the screen.  Click on “Knowledge Library” and then click on “Key Topics”.
3. Choose one of the topics listed: (electronic medical/health records, electronic prescribing, Health IT in small and rural communities, Health info exchange, and Telehealth). 
4. Click on the topic and explore what comes up on the screen.  For your selected topic, view “Emerging Lessons,” and “Topics for Discussion.” 

Using the information accessed from this site, write a four- to five-page paper (excluding title and reference pages) in which you assess this information and discuss your reactions and opposing viewpoints on the issues. The paper must be formatted according to APA style as outlined.
