Please turn to p. 81-84 in your packet.  For 10 possible points, please follow the directions on p. 81 (p. 81 is also attached to this assignment.  PLEASE open it and TYPE your answers):You will choose TWO statistics from each of the following pages (82, 83 and 84) that make an EMOTIONAL IMPRESSION on you.  Explain your responses to them and why they affect you emotionally.Then please write FIVE examples of responsible ways of using alcohol.FOR 5 MORE POINTS…EXTRA CREDIT, SO THIS IS OPTIONAL…answer the last question on p. 81 about helping a peer or family member who is having trouble with alcohol.

Now….think and comment about the responsible use of alcohol (Definition: using it in such a way that a potential for a problem as a result of one’s drinking does not exist in any area of one’s life. If abstinence is not indicated, use in moderation. What are some strategies for responsible drinking? Name 5 (example: “set a limit and stick to it”)….

For 5 points of Extra Credit answer the following in a minimum of 3 sentences: What do you think is the most effective way to help a peer who apparently has a drinking problem? Is it different than trying to help a family member (like a dad, mom, brother, sister….)? Why or why not?
