Assignment: Formal Lab Report on the Michelson Interferometer.

This assignment will incorporate Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.

accepted – either bound or secured in a report holder.

This report should include a cover page, an abstract, a background, a procedure, observations, a conclusion

and references. This report should be no less than 15 – 20 pages, all sources cited, diagrams referred to in

report, with no excessively large diagrams.

There will be an accompanying Power point presentation on the Michelson Interferometer – use your

discretion on length of the presentation but it must include a background, pictures, excel plots,

observations and a conclusion.

Excel charts of the data, including a procedure must be included in the report.

2. A soft copy of the excel data and charts

3. A soft copy of the power point presentation
