Description of duties: Supervision of care and advice to women during pregnancy, delivery, and after delivery, guidance of deliveries, and care of newborns, infants, and children under six years of age. This care includes prevention, detection of abnormal conditions in mother and child, provision of medical assistance, and implementation of emergency measures in the absence of medical assistance.
