1. For extra credit (+1%), students can virtually attend a developmental biology research talk, and turn in a 1-page summary detailing what the talk was about and what you found most interesting and/or what some of your questions were.
Be sure to include the scientist’s name and their research talk title.
Word count minimum: 350 words.
There are a number of options for talks. Virtual research talk are held every 2nd Friday of the month at 3pm for the Ethel Browne Harvey Postdoctoral Seminar Series with the Society for Developmental Biology (
