The Deep Water Horizon oil spill has been the largest marine oil spill in
history. The incident happened on the Gulf of Mexico on April 10, 2010.
On the night of april 20th, a rush of natural gas blasted through concrete
that was installed by a contractor however, those cores of concrete were
too weak to withstand the pressure and ignited killing 11 people on board
and sending billions of barrels of oil into the U.S. coastal waters.
