5.It is important to make sure that this “breakthrough” is something that is doable. Once this is confirmed, I would make sure that all security protocols are in place, this way we prevent another data breach. It is important to understand what resources would be needed to make this happen. “Strategic decision makers often pay less attention to the ‘with what we will compete’ issue, resulting in poor strategic decisions” (Hollenbeck et al., 2023). I would use this breakthrough to assure all stakeholders that the security breach did not interfere with anything. I would announce the project and how it would help the environment and also all Tesla Owners. I would not give full details of the project. Just hit the important points without giving too much. Giving too much would give competitors too much information, which can jeopardize the project.
