Scent is a powerful marketing tool that evokes consumer emotions, and can change buying behavior. According to Forbes, most major hotel chains diffuse their unique aromas throughout their properties. The hope is that “whiffs of these scents will make you link their property with positive memories and emotions, as well as establish and market their brand.”
