There are several ways in which the female reproductive system function may be impaired; one of the ways is exposure to pesticides. A number of pesticides can interfere with the female hormonal function; this can cause negative results on the reproductive system by interfering with the balance in hormones that are tasked with the correct function of the system.
The effects brought about by pesticides that disrupt endocrine in the female reproductive system include; ovarian cycle irregularities, modulation of hormone levels, and impaired fertility. Recent studies have shown that exposure to pesticides can be related with abridged fertility, delayed pregnancies, miscarriages, stillbirths, and also growth defects all this due to the interference of the functionality of hormones in the female system. Pesticides contain a huge number of distinctive substances that have different composition plus varied toxicity, therefore some of the above mechanisms are important in the path physiological trail hence the function of the pesticides exposure in disrupting the cycle which in the end leads to infertility or impairment of the reproductive system.
Chronic illness is another way in which the reproductive system can be impaired. When a person is ill they undergo a lot of physical stress, which can disrupt the normal functioning of the body as well as ovulation. Situations that bring about a considerable amount of weight loss can are very damaging to the normal reproductive function. Some diseases like the graves disease or any other thyroid disease can lead to a woman not ovulation at all.
