Scenario

You have decided to open an ice cream shop and move your home-based business into a storefront. Recently, you met with SBA National, a non-profit organization that focuses on helping entrepreneurs start their businesses with funding and guidance. The non-profit also hosts a business pitch competition for anyone who is a client. One of the requirements of the SBA business pitch competition is that each participant must provide a frequently asked questions (FAQ) document on the ethical standards that you will use in the operating procedures for your business.

Instructions

Develop an ethical standards FAQ with 8 to 12 FAQs in your document that incorporates the following:

• Your ice cream shop business’ position on ethics
• How you will use ethics in decision making
• Policies and procedures on ethics in the workplace: how does ethics shape your short and long-term business planning?
• Make sure to use audience-specific language and a professional tone throughout the document.
• Clear organization, APA formatting for the references list, and proper grammar, punctuation, and FAQ formatting are required.

Note: An FAQ document typically provides brief and clear information regarding the subject in a question-and-answer form.
