“Enbridge is an energy organization and facility in Calgary, Canada. They are most known for pipeline 5, which transfers through Northern Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper peninsula. Upwards of 540,000 barrels of crude oil and and natural gas liquids are transferred across the Canadian-U.S. border and the Great lakes per day. Pipeline 5 supplies 65% of the propane demand within the Upper Peninsula and 55% of Michigan’s statewide propane needs. Enbridge claims to be an ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible company. Recently, Enbridge and Michigan have been on trial over Line 5, which Enbridge has won. If the line ruptures, Enbridge has the cpacity to pay upwards to $1.8 billion for environmental cleaning.
