Comment from the professor “This assignment gave you some problems. Do take a few moments to review my margin notes addressing several issues and remember to proofread your work closely or have someone do so for you.

Besides offering a book that I feel is a worthwhile read, one of my motives for this assignment is for students to submit a scholarly (graduate level) written assignment before taking a dive into the research project. Other than noted above, I find no major issues with your work or the level of your writing. Your writing was clear; your writing style is active; and, your critique of Moral Intelligence was crisp and balanced.

To me the work is an ‘easy read’, worth referring back to as warranted, especially when my compass needs a bit of realigning—even occasionally retaking the MCI can be reason to do a bit of realigning. I don’t recall that you mentioned the MCI (worksheet). Did you get a chance to take it? If so, what did you think about it?””

A Critique Of Moral Intelligence
The article vividly describes enhancing leadership success and business performance
methods. Information and data are collected from a book scripted and written by Doug Lennick
and kile in 2007. The videos explore a deep understanding and development of moral values
gained across a trigonometric lifestyle derived across moral values and a lifestyle that impacts
behaviors and lifespans that constitutes business models. Unfortunately, after focusing on the
research, they only found little work. As a result, they spent most of their time researching to
develop more information based on moral intelligence. Moral intelligence pertains taking time
and investing resources into understanding the basics associated with moral intelligence.
Intelligence partakes the ability to apply or relate ethical principles to actions, values and goals.
The competencies are related to forgiveness, integrity and compassion. Therefore for a good
leader must take into considerations of the four competencies of moral intelligence.
Therefore, as the book defines moral intelligence as the ability to follow rules that define
particular norms and principles and act upon personal beliefs to make moral intelligence values,
objectives, and values, most people have various forms of intelligence when applying their
principles to various beliefs and presenting them to great traditions, beliefs, and cultures. Moral
intelligence indicates that morality is the only path to prosperity and success that expands
knowledge of presenting unique stories by giving examples and providing crucial assets in any
business (Lennick & Kiel, 2007). An intelligent moral culture is defined by worthwhile values
that define members’ actions by acting on the same values as defined.
Theories define how businesses have to work by defining success for businesses by
ensuring that the interest of customers and employers go in the same direction. Moral
intelligence can define the solutions needed in businesses and make the entrepreneur creative and

innovative by using ideas and creativity to make the business a success. Stakeholder theory states
that all stakeholders or participants are essential in growing a business. Together, they make the
business effective (Wayne, 2007). The stakeholders act as groups that plow much of their time
into the business and affect the business profits or loss (DardenMBA, 2009). When people use
moral intelligence, they can create values by taking ideas from the business and creating them to
work for the business. Stakeholders and shareholders play major roles in running of the
organizational goals and they must shape up their plans for efficient running of all duties.
Morals include fairness, such as fairness when working with other members. When
delegating duties uphold fairness. The delegating duties should ensure that all duties are not
overloaded to one individual. Instead, fairness should be con employed as an ethic of moral
intelligence. For example, driverless cars should make moral decisions that are safe for travelers
and pedestrians to cross streets and roads. Therefore, a true leader defines the organizational
activities by encompassing business prospects into making the best plans and budgets. Humans
mostly face challenges, and they have to develop ways of maintaining good intentions that are
easily interpreted. Kiel and Dennick’s readings and works can be interpreted differently, but their
messages are left non-negotiable.
Building morality groups involves building moral organizations dependent on
responsible groups that follow up morals defined by moral intelligence. Emotions can be
powerful from each end, but leaders must cultivate extra efforts to manage organizations
sincerely. Leaders should not keep their moods and emotions to control them for they might fail
to perform the right duties governed to them by the state or any organization. Good morals and
values sometimes lead to dilemmas when they contradict, leading to moral discussions
established on social accountability. Concisely, moral intelligence involves knowing what to do,

whereas moral competence comprises the skill to do the correct or right thing (Lennick & Kiel,
2007). The attributes should not reduce leadership morals dependent on morals and success
building; instead, they should use the minimum requirements of knowledge and intelligence
defined by moral principles.
