Instructions:
Part 1: Project Initiation (10 marks)
Project Proposal (3 marks): Write a brief project proposal that outlines the client’s requirements,
objectives, and scope of the project. Include a project timeline.
Feasibility Study (3 marks): Conduct a preliminary feasibility study to assess the technical, operational,
and economic feasibility of the project.
Cost and time estimation (4 marks): Calculate cost using COCOMO, LOC, FP using online software and
tools.
Part 2: Project Planning (15 marks)
Now that the project has been approved, you need to create a project plan. In this section, you need to:
Create a WBS for the project. Include at least three levels of decomposition. (5 marks):
Project Schedule (5 marks): Develop a project schedule using a Gantt chart or another appropriate tool.
Identify critical path activities and milestones.
Resource Allocation (5 marks): Discuss how you would allocate resources (e.g., human resources,
hardware, software) to various project tasks. Include a resource allocation chart or table.
Part 3: Risk Management (10 marks)
Every project comes with risks. In this section, you need to:
Risk Identification (3 marks): Identify at least five potential risks associated with the project, and
categorize them as technical, organizational, or external risks.
Risk Assessment (4 marks): Assess the identified risks in terms of their likelihood and impact. Create a
risk matrix.
Risk Mitigation Plan (3 marks): Develop a risk mitigation plan for the high-priority risks. Describe specific
actions to minimize or eliminate these risks.
Part 4: Project Monitoring and Control (10 marks)
Once the project is underway, it’s essential to monitor and control its progress. In this section, you need
to:
Monitoring Metrics (4 marks): Identify at least three key performance indicators (KPIs) that you would
use to monitor the project’s progress. Explain why you chose these metrics.
Change Control Process (3 marks): Describe the process you would follow to manage and approve
changes to the project scope.
Quality Assurance (3 marks): Discuss how you would ensure the quality of the deliverables throughout
the project lifecycle.
Part 4: Design (10 marks)

Design Approach (2 marks)
Describe the approach you will take during the design phase, including any methodologies, frameworks,
or best practices you will follow. Include ER diagram. ( 6 marks)
Part 5: Implementation (10 marks) Describe any kind of tools, framework, libraries, .. to be used in
your project
Part 6: Testing (15 marks) Provide Level4 testing (unit test, integration test, system testing and user
acceptance testing) along with the pass/fail result.
Part 7: Management tools (10 marks) Use Jira, Notion, Monday.com, click up, Zoho,…
Part 8: Remaining task (10 marks): Describe a detailed plan for remaining tasks, function for your system
and provide a scheduling for the remaining tasks.(Consider October 30 as the deadline to finish the
project)

Ensure proper citations and references if you refer to any external sources.
Grading Criteria:
Your assignment will be graded based on the completeness of your responses, the clarity of your
