Task 1

Company Profile: About the Company (e.g., name, location)/Nature of Business/History of the Company/Computer-Based Technology used by the organization. Company profile must be reviewed across the group members and include the details of the review in the executive summary. Note: Each student must provide the company profile. (100 to 200 words are expected)

• Executive Summary:

• Individual Reflection about the internship and skills learned. How those skills will be applied by the student in their future career.
• Identify and assess the scope of at least one (1) technology, or any computer-based system used by the organization.

Based on the Company Profiles from the other members of the group. Analyze and explain the impact or the effect of the technology to employees, and the company. Note: (300 to 400 words are expected)

Task 2

Project Plan.Based on the observation and data collected from the company where the internship has been taken, assume that you are a Project Managerwho needs to plan for the latest computer-based technology project. As a first step, you need to prepare the initial project plan to be reviewed and approved by the management. The following details are expected in the initial Project Plan:

• Project Description. A clear and accurate justification must be provided in the selected project. Justification must also include the effect of the project to the organization, society, or individual.
• Project Scope. Project Scope must concise and clear. Anyone reading the scope statement should have a good idea of what the project consists of (and what will not be part of the project) and the duration of the project must be clear. This statement will give a view of the project.
• Stakeholders (Internal and External): A minimum of five (5) for each so a total of ten (10) stakeholders with a brief description for each.
• Methodology: Select the suitable methodology and justify why this methodology is selected for this project.
• Project Scheduling/Monitoring and Control Strategy: Using any computer-based tool or application prepare the timeline, work-breakdown, Gantt Chart, and network diagram using any computer-based tool. Timeline/Work Breakdown must be according to the activities/tasks of the selected methodology. Based on the identified task, duration and predecessors provide the critical path of the project using the critical path method discussed in the class.
• Risk Analysis: Prepare the risk plan with the risk, severity, priority, impact, treatment, and mitigation plan. At least five (5) risks are expected.
