1-4 Blog: Personal and Professional Identities Online

For this assignment, you will use the native Blackboard blog tool to upload a

professional photo of yourself (or an avatar in its place) and create a mock-up profile of

your educational and professional goals.

As part of this mock-up, you will answer the following questions:

1. What are your educational and professional goals?

What knowledge and skills do you hope to gain from this

experience and how do you think they will help you

attain those goals?

2. How does the issue of privacy affect your personal and

professional identities and your educational and

professional goals? Do you prefer them separate? Why

or why not?

Note: This is not meant to look exactly like a professional profile. Don’t worry about the

formatting as much as the content.
