I wish to submit the topic of Due Process of Law for research.
Due process of law is guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment to all American citizens,
whether citizens by birth or through naturalization. Due process of law is a right that guarantees
Americans equal protection of the law and furthermore protects the citizens of this country
against deprivation of life, liberty, and property. The Fourteenth Amendment guards American
Society against potential abuses of power by authority, but more so the due process of law
ensures citizens all the “steps” in the law shall be afforded to American Citizens.
