Introduction – Data Analysis – Naxiris Cole
Data analysis and visualization are crucial skills that aid in making data-driven decisions
in organizations. Due to the advancement in technology and the dynamic native of competition
in today’s business environment, data analytics skill is one of the most reliable weapons utilized
by successful organizations. Microsoft 365 is a product of Microsoft that has transformed the
operations and performance of many organizations. Many experts and data analysts claim that
Microsoft 365 has improved employee engagement, information sharing, efficiency and time
saving, decision-making, and reduced physical meetings and travelling across various
organizations. Therefore, this report presents the analysis of the survey data collected across
three organizations, Popular Lane Tech, Ace Learning Corp, and Big Timber Manufacturing, to
evaluate the impact of Microsoft 365 on the engagement of remote employees, time management
and saving, decision making, and sharing of knowledge and information.

The bar and pie charts in the data visualization above show categorical data gleaned from
employees’ responses from Ace, Big Timber, and Poplar Lane Tech. The data was obtained from
employee responses as to the effectiveness of collaboration and time saved each day by using
Microsoft Teams 365. The bar charts represent the three organizations, and the bars vary in
height based on the defined values on the graph’s axis. Implications of the first bar chart indicate
that Big Timber had the most responses to agreeing or strongly agreeing that the 365 Microsoft
teams are an effective form of collaboration. Poplar Lane Tech came in second regarding the
most answers for agreement or strong agreement for the application’s effectiveness. Ace came in
third with either agreeing or strongly disagreeing with the effectiveness of collaborating with 365
Microsoft Teams. The conclusions of the second bar chart quantify the time saved (in fiveminute increments) per organization using Microsoft 365 collaboration tools. The graph reveals
Poplar Lane Tech productivity increased using Microsoft collaboration by 634 minutes (about 10
and a half hours) saved. Ace came in second place with a 403-minute boost, and Big Timber was
last with a total of 358-minute improvement by using Microsoft 365 tools. According to the
Forrester Total Impact Study Commission by Microsoft (Microsoft, 2019), workers save more
than an hour a week by not switching from one application to another. Teams communicate and
collaborate more effectively and efficiently using Microsoft 365 Tools.
Insights from both charts indicate that although Big Timber was the most agreeable to the
effectiveness of collaboration teams, the organization’s total time saved was less than that of Big
Timber, who strongly agreed that Microsoft 365 tools are an effective form of collaboration. On
the other hand, Ace is consistent in the data regarding effective responses and time saved using
collaboration. While teamwork may be more effective, it can take more time to incorporate.
Microsoft 365 tools team-based collaboration affects business productivity by allowing real-time
document revision. Real-time document revisions teams enable people to collaborate
simultaneously on the same project leading to increased efficiency and productivity. However, a
challenge to using Microsoft 365 tools is overcoming the learning curve. Training and practice
will make people comfortable using Microsoft tools and accelerate productivity. Typically,
working online offers efficiency and project management capabilities to keep everyone
organized and on task.
Justification of Both Trends – Michael Busanus
In-regards-to the result of question #11 a bar graph was our first designated choice to
represent the effectiveness of Collaboration with Microsoft Teams /365/One drive. The data in
the bar graph represents the three companies involved which include Ace Learning Corp, Big
Timber Manufacturing and Poplar Lane Tech. This bar graph allows the viewer to visualize the
result of the three companies that agree, strongly agree, disagree, neutral or strongly disagree.
The viewer is easily able to comprehend the results by a clear visual picture of what employees
and companies were in favor of or against. The visualization is like a race who can see who is in
the lead and who is bringing up the rear. Also, my team and I depicted information on pie charts
for all three companies. This allows the viewer to individually see the results solely for their
own company on their own pie chart. This visually depicts the results by showing what
employees were in favor of by having the biggest portion of the pie, and those numbers that were
smaller having a smaller piece of the pie.
The following question proposes do employees agree, strongly agree, disagree, neutral or
strongly disagree that having information accessible from one application. We chose to express
the information in a bar graph, and it allows the viewer to see end results. This is easily
represented by three bar lines that represent three different companies, depicted with different
colors. This shows the preferences that the employees for each company had expressing their
opinions in having information accessible from one application was beneficial.
The third question is what the time is saved each day by collaboration with Microsoft 365 tools.
The team and I chose to depict this in a bar graph, and this gave the viewer a great opportunity to
view end results for each organization and the employees surveyed. The bar graph results are
depicted in five minutes increments. Again, this is a great way to visualize the results out of the
three companies that were surveyed, Ace Learning Corp, Big Timber Manufacturing and Poplar
Lane Tech. It depicts each company, and which one saved the most time and which company
the least. Both bar graphs and pie charts are great tools to visualize results as my team has
demonstrated after data was cleansed. This allows the viewer to easily understand the questions
that were asked and take the data provided to determine if the tools were useful and time
efficient.
Conclusion – Tarra Cook
Having a visual of the results of how effective using Microsoft 365 and the benefits of time
saving, accessible information, and the effectiveness of collaborating producing and
manufacturing at a silkier and faster rate. The companies can see how impactful Microsoft 365
is through engagement activities from the graph. Also, the increasing speed of the positive result
of productivity by using Microsoft 365. The positive results from the graph are a result of
hosting Microsoft 365. Because of the host each company has positive results of efficiency as
stated in the graph. According to The International Journal of Research students strongly agreed
that Microsoft Teams were effective (Laquindanum, 2022). In fact, Microsoft 365 helped with
flexibility and productivity during the Covid-19 Pandemic according to Forbes Magazine (Segal,
2021). Having the flexibility to work during these stressful times assisted with offsite
engagement and organizational skills to complete the task of the job with proficiency. As you
can see from the graphs each company found it smother and effective to complete their projects.
This is a direct correlation to hosting Microsoft 365 and a useful tool of collaborating to work
together gaining positive results for each company.
Each company displayed on the graph demonstrated the time they saved using Microsoft
365 all with optimistic findings. As you can see in from the vast numbers in the graph strongly
aggreging that most companies concur that Microsoft 365 has positive results of, manufacturing
planning effective meetings and collaborating on projects. As a result of the survey the graphs
gives you a visual of time saving and productivity within the company by streaming and
planning also, employees were in favor of this useful tool. The display of the graph illustrates
growth in each company by using this fast-paced output tool with efficacy.
