  • Proper grammar, and be free of spelling errors.
  • Correct application of the L.A.W system of identification.
  • Proper identification of nine Ridges for each fingerprint.
  • The first attachment is for the first assignment, that’s where the information will be written.

2nd assignment: L.A.W. and Primary Classification FBI-Henry Formula Activity (FBI FD-258 form). Apply the L.A.W. Pattern Classification system and the Henry-FBI formula for the Primary Classification (Fraction) for the ten fingerprints of the suspect impressed on the FBI FD-258 form attached in the pdf document.

Proper grammar, and be free of spelling errors.

  • Correct application of the L.A.W (Loop, Arch, Whorl) pattern system of identification for each of the ten suspect’s fingerprints.
  • Correct application of the Henry-FBI mathematical formula for the Primary Classification (Fraction) of the suspect’s fingerprints.
  • Note: The Henry-FBI mathematical formula includes five fractions composed by the ten fingers and an extra 1/1 fraction is added.  The presence or absence of Whorl pattern is the basis for this system of identification. If a Whorl pattern is found on any finger of the first pair or fraction it receives a value of 16; on the second pair, a value of 8; on the third pair, a value of 4; on the fourth pair, a value of 2; and on the fifth pair, a value of 1. The value of zero is assign to any Loop or Arch.
