In your reflection memo, first describe your understanding of two strategy concepts, shown below, as developed by the relevant reading and in-class lectures. Then: how did our discussion of the Walmart case deepen/expand your understanding of these concepts? In your answer, demonstrate that you prepared the relevant readings, show your mastery of core concepts, your understanding of the key takeaways from our case discussion, and explain how the case discussion created new insights and improved/deepened/illustrated/changed your understanding of the concept. The concepts themselves are developed in the Porter article “What is Strategy?” as well as numerous class discussions and lectures.
