FINAL PAPER TOPICS:

Agency: In addition to the information you find on this topic, your paper must cover the following

a. Explain the unique relationship between the principal and agent;
b. Discuss how the agency relationship is created and terminated;
c. Analyze the agent’s and principal’s rights and responsibilities to each other;
d. Explain the doctrine of Respondeat superior and its intersection between business torts and
agency.

a. Explain the various types of alternative dispute resolution that exist;
b. Discuss the importance of alternative dispute resolution in the business environment;
c. Discuss when (i.e., the circumstances that give rise to) alternative dispute resolution should
be utilized vs. when it is best to use the court system;
d. What is a dispute resolution clause and explain its intersection between ADR and contracts.

a. Explain the three types of torts, making sure you give examples of each;
b. Discuss the defenses available to a Defendant when each type of tort is committed;
c. Discuss the interaction between torts, public policy, and business issues.

b. Discuss how a contract is formed, making sure to explain each element in detail;
