Assignment: Corporate Criminal LiabilityWhenever the Courts have determined the issue of criminal liability of a company, the
minds and bodies of the officers and servants of the corporation have been taken to
supply its lack of mental and physical faculties. It is one thing to attribute legal capacity
to a company, but quite another to give it human characteristics. Discuss
Conduct the research and prepare a recorded PowerPoint presentation with what you
will say as part of your opening remarks.
You will want to be certain to:
• Explain and identify how a company can be found to be criminally responsible;
• Identify the rule regarding the mind of the Directors;
• Explain how a Company is considered as a legal entity;
Parameters:
1. You must include a minimum of two scholarly and credible sources not including
the text book.
2. References must be properly APA formatted with a slide at the end containing the
reference list.
3. Use a single background design and color.
4. Each slide should be designed to be concise, uncluttered and readable from a
distance: include only key words and phrases for visual reinforcement.
5. Do not put too much information on any single slide: generally, no more than 6
words a line, and no more than 6 lines a slide.
