Assignment 3 – Team 3Caribou is looking to expand its business in Romania and is thus looking for a partner
to help them navigate the Romanian business market. Given your expertise in the commercial
and legal domains, they choose you as a partner to help them establish a new company in
Romania.
For this matter, Caribou prepared more than $ 300,000, 2 tones of coffee beans and
some equipment for their first step. They want to invest all this in a way that will offer them
the possibility to expand very fast in the near future. They would prefer a concentrated
approach in order to be able to analyze the evolution in the first year and then take a decision
regarding the following steps.
You have to analyze the Romanian provisions in regards to a LLC COMPANY
(limited liability company – SRL) and establish how you and Caribou are going to start an
activity as partners.
