Who am I?

This one is wrong or misunderstood I am a young, ambitious, energetic and competent lad who recently completed my first university degree in Business Management and is currently undertaking the second degree in line with the former one. I have had a wide range of experience in various aspects of life as I have both lived and worked in various environmental conditions. This has managed to give me a broad scope when it comes to understanding the society and the world at large. The recently concluded degree made me more business-oriented and it has enculturated in me, the need to start up an enterprise. This led to my decision of starting the social enterprise of mobile working where the software enables a person to search for jobs vacancies within the vicinity of a particular radius.

What your social enterprise does and what it stands for

The entire enterprise stands for universal increased employment as it is founded on the need for universal empowerment of individuals. Any enterprise with a clear social mission has the obligatory role of fulfilling it (Nyssens, 2006). My selected enterprise has developed a way of relaying the need for individuals to be employed by having the job seeking application installed in the phones. linking thousands of workers from underemployed and bottom-of-the-pyramid communities with short duration jobs sourced from Fortune 500 companies as well as small businesses in the United States. It also solve the thorniest problems experienced by developers as well as businesses in the process of creating accessible and easy jobs for everyday individuals needing them (Eagle, 2009).

How my social enterprise develop, support and create value through social enterprise

This is supported through regular messages sent to individuals having this application, so that they can be reminded and also inform others. This leads to the creation of a society where everyone can be enlightened on where there are available jobs. You can elaborate more here.

Potentials of my social enterprise in generating social change and building sustainable communities

My particular social enterprise is one that has a lot of potential. According to one analyst, new and evolved business ideas that bring products and services to the customers’ doorstep re-affirm economic security (Kerlin, 2009). The company offers human OCR tasks that can be completed on low-end mobile phones (Eagle, 2009). This enterprise is also one that has the capability of empowering many unemployed persons and give them and opportunity to improve their lifestyles. This will therefore lead to drastic social changes where all or rather many civilians will have a source of income and help in mitigating other alternatives of sustaining themselves which may include indulgence in crime. Having a community with increased numbers of employed persons will lead to a sustainable community where market flow will be good and boost the economy.

Challenges

However, there are several challenges that face this enterprise. Job sanity (Sanity or scarcity? Can you explain?)is a major limiting factor, which undermines the functionality of my application. In order to have the application in areas where there are no job vacancies, no help will be availed. It is therefore important for persons to note this and apply the application where applicable. Distribution of phones among those in dire need of the help is another problem. Many civilians who need jobs are those who are living below the minimum wage and cannot afford luxuries such as cell phones, let alone phones that can use various applications.

Efforts made to achieve excellence

Excellence is the number one agenda for any focused enterprise (Kerlin, 2009). This has led to my move of ensuring the enterprise achieves excellence at whatever costs. The first effort towards excellence that I made was to have a proper portfolio, one which will be able to attract an investor and assure then of the enterprise’s potential. Another effort made by the enterprise is to have a firm and well-established market outlet. This will improve its chances of gaining more profits but most importantly, it provides a better and wider platform where those in need of the application.
