Details: | For your Individual Project assignment, you will compare and contrast a work of art in a specific classification (Renaissance or Gothic) appearing on a WEBSITE with a work of art in your TEXTBOOK of the same classification. You can choose either two Renaissance paintings, two Renaissance sculptures, or two Gothic Cathedrals to discuss (two works in total). You may not discuss works that you have already discussed in another assignment.

B. Required Discussion Board assignment. Two criteria used to judge the quality of a work are craft (how well an artwork was made) and communication (the uniqueness of the artist’s vision and its message or meaning). Michelangelo Buonarroti and Leonardo da Vinci were considered masters of these two qualities. Compare a work of art from each artist using the following for discussion: Post the images you have selected.Describe what each work intended to communicate.
