Sarcoidosis

When using the Herzing University Online LIRN database I found two reliable sources for Sarcoidosis in the lungs. These sources are reliable because it has been published and in the report it gives credit to the authors and list a reference page. This report also has charts with results of patients with Sarcoidosis in the lungs and the treatment for it. This report also tell you that this paper has been reproduced with permission of the copyright owner. This leads me to believe that these sources are credible. These sources are also credible and reliable because it is a scholarly journal. When you use a scholarly journal in your paper it makes your paper more believable because it has been thoroughly scrutinized for facts.

When using the Internet I found two reliable sources for Sarcoidosis in the lungs. One source gave the definition, an overview, and an outlook with the disease. The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute web page give you several different links to go to for information and help. It tell you the causes, who is at risk, the signs and symptoms, etc. This site is credible because an Institute is all about facts and will not publish just anything and it is an organization by the government. This web page has peer reviews as well. I know by personal experience with my husband who has this disease that this site is factual because his doctor told him to go to this site to learn more about his disease. Another site that I visited was the Wexner Medical Center. This site tells you the definition of Sarcoidosis, who is at risk, diagnosis of sarcoidosis, and treatment for this disease. I believe that this site is reliable because comes from a college database.
