Android App Practical

Select one of the APK files here and perform both a static and dynamic analysis of that app.

You should view the code for the app and provide a brief explanation of the app, which includes permissions. You can note if any of the permissions are low, moderate or high risk.

You should also install the app on your smartphone or tablet and try to analyze DNS connections made by the app, using either Wireshark and/or Debookee. You can further analyze these DNS connections using tools such as Robtex.com.

Chapter 10 of the textbook will provide a lot of helpful resources.

Your submission should be at least 3 pages, 1.5 line spacing. You should include screenshots.
